Thanks to the outward arc of the arm, this tidy little lock can attach to a larger diameter handlebar than a traditional carabiner. Bars, racks, frame rails—it’ll clamp down on anything up to 38mm in diameter. 

The T-bar servers as an extension to pass through a traditional D-Ring, and will work on some helmets with a quick-release buckle. Schuberth helmets will work; unfortunately Shoei quick-release buckles will not.
